What is happening to Topshop? Recently, Topshop has introduced a new pair of jeans called MOTO Clear Plastic Straight Leg Jeans and internet is not having it. These jeans are not even made of denim, so they can't really called "jeans". Since the jeans out in the market, they had received a ton of negative reviews from the internet, especially Twitter. Someone called the jeans "ridiculous". A Twitter user even ask "Topshop, are you drunk?"

I went to the Topshop official website and found out these jeans are, surprisingly "out of stock". Under the review section, these jeans got a 4.8 stars rating out of 5 starts with widely positive review. A user commended "These jeans have worked miracles for my dating life." Another user said "I love these jeans. Perfect fit. Fits true to size. Comfortable." Look like the Topshop customers are very satisfy with these jeans.

After I did some research, these transparent jeans got few pros and cons depend on different occasions. The first problem everyone seen to notice is these jeans can cause a serious sweaty situation on the leg. Not to mention the foggy surface caused by the condensation of the sweat. Some customers experienced sweat fall from the jeans and dripped on their feet. These jeans apparently can't wear for a whole day. Another problem is these jeans can produce a loud plastic fiction sound when you move, it can attract large amount of attention. Even without the sound, if you are wearing these jeans on the street, you definitely can become the center of attraction.

But look at the bright side, these jeans are waterproof since they are made of polyurethane. You don't have to wash the jeans, just slightly wipe them is enough. You can wear basically anything inside, shorts, pants, leggings, you name it. Besides, it is better to wear at the pool party because you are getting wet anyway, the sweat won't bother you. It is also suitable for festival and costume party as stated by the Topshop. Not only that, it is useful during the rainy day because it can function as a rain coat.

In overall, these are a pair of controversy jeans. The purchase decision is based on the individual personal thought about the jeans. But paying $100 for a pair of plastic jeans, you just have to really think about it before you click the "purchase" button.
